The Ministerial Covenant The "covenant" being entered into is triune in nature. It is a covenant between the commissioned minister and the ecclesiastical body (UCMI) and is avowed before our almighty God in heaven. . United Christian Ministries International provides in covenant: UCMI will: Be diligent in maintaining the highest legal and biblical standards of integrity, ethics and professionalism. Do everything possible to always be regarded as a respectable and reputable Christian organization and above any reproach as an ecclesiastical body. Grant covering through licensure/ordination for ministry and will perform all necessary work to insure that your credentials shall remain valid and legal in every state and in every nation that accepts Christianity. Be available to give guidance and direction as required by the licensed/ordained covenantal partner. Grant any reasonable request for church charter as required by the ordained covenantal partner. Through our Ministry Institute will continue to offer quality ministry education at the lowest possible expense for the effective training of our partners for performance of the work of the ministry. Strive to offer the best in various resources to assist our ordained partner's in their ministry. Provide methods and times for fellowship and Bible study together as a body of believers. UCMI as a body will be covering you with prayer and in intercession for an anointing over your ministry. Maintain physical offices and staff for the professional performance of the ministry's functions. Maintain all necessary equipment for the maintenance of documents and records of the ministry. Maintain a searchable online minister database for the verification of our ordained minister's credentials. Anyone anywhere may check on the validity and status of your ministerial ordination with UCMI. Hold our ministers in accountability. UCMI provides online forms to make accountability reports a simple matter to communicate. Without accountability there is no basis or assurance of integrity. Your covenant with UCMI You covenant to: Commit to diligent study and seek to rightly divide the word of God in all phases of ministry. To seek continuing forms of education keeping yourself prepared and ready for the service of your calling. Be an active participant in the ministry of UCMI. To be active in prayer and fellowship with other members of this ecclesiastical body. To cover and uplift the ministries of UCMI in your prayer life. Be committed to practicing biblical stewardship with all that the Lord has provided to you. To commit to regular biblical giving into the kingdom ministries and in covenant, to direct a portion of your regular donations in support of your ecclesiastical covering and the effectual work and ministry of UCMI. Hold yourself to a high, Christian standard in your actions. Being moral, just and temperate in all things. Displaying Christ in you to the rest of the world and holding yourself above any reproach. Be held to accountability and to become part of our accountability network thereby assuring a high standard of Christian integrity within the ministries and ministers of UCMI. Never abuse the authority entrusted to you through the credentials you have received from UCMI. |
