About the Ministerial Association . The UCMI Ministerial Association is a Division of United Christian Ministries Int'l. The purpose of this Association is to set up a specialized covering for those who are entering ministry. The Association provides the necessary area of covering for those who are not yet proven for the effectual work of ministry. . The Necessity of the Association The UCMI-MA provides the buffer for proving and educating the called minister. It is necessary for UCMI to determine that an individual has indeed received a valid calling to ministry and has the devotion and dedication required to stay the course. At UCMI we take the credentialing of our ministers very seriously. This requires that our ordained ministers are equally serious about their Call to Ministry. This is the necessary purpose of this Association. . The Liberty of this Association The Ministerial Association gives by its existance a greater liberty in the effectual work of the gospel ministry of Christ. Not all are called to the same function or office of the Kingdom Ministries. Many do not require the Ordained status that some others may require in their work. The Association will "hold" licensure for those who have a lesser requirement for ministry credentials. Please note that under this Association, UCMI does not endorse either the Commissioned Minister nor their respective ministry however this may be a viable solution for some. The Association, in its liberty, advances the individual who requires ordination with the time and resources to receive their needed education so they can progress towards the status of being Ordained into the ecclesiastical body of the ministries of UCMI. . The Liberty in Faith and Doctrine The UCMI-MA is non-Denominational as are the ministries of UCMI. This fact allows for the free expression of our faith in observance and practice. The term "Non-Denominational" defines as not being of Denominational influence in the observed theological dogmas of many Denominations. It is wrong to assert from this a determination that reflects a meaning of "Inter-Denominational" or of accepting all Denominational beliefs and dogma. This Association as well as UCMI are founded on the observance of foundational core beliefs of the Christian Faith.
