About the UCA A Conference of Unified Assemblies in Christ.

. United Christian Assemblies is a Conference of Assemblies or Churches that are in agreement with Protestant Reformed Faith. It is our focus to be faith centered rather than observing traditional religious structure. Faith in Christ and the following of New Testament ethics is of the utmost importance. This Conference is established to assist in the covering of Non-Denominational Assemblies in Christ Jesus. We support the churches or assemblies that Denominations will exclude for their various reasons and those who reject inclusion with traditional religious structured Denominations. We limit doctrine to that which can be harmoniously supported by the Word of God, with a primary focus on the New Testament Covenant through Christ. .

Established by His leading....

• In 1998 the Lord spoke to our founder (Steven B. Smethers) and said: "Make it so My People can minister in this world today." This "word" was prayerfully considered and obeyed. This led to the establishment (May 1998) of United Christian Ministries Int'l. (UCMI) This work has assisted thousands of God's people to freely minister in the modern world.       "Free My People"

• In 1999 the Lord again spoke to our founder and said: "Teach My People to be effective ministers of My word." This "word" was prayerfully considered and obeyed. This led to the establishment (Jan. 2000) of United Christian Ministry Institute, Ltd. (ucmi-edu.net) The Institute has assisted hundreds of people to be edified in the methods of Christian ministry.    "Teach My people"

• In 2000 the Lord again spoke to our founder and said: "Gather My remnant Assemblies together that they may be in unity." This "word" was prayerfully considered and obeyed. This led to the establishment of United Christian Assemblies Int'l. (June 2001)      "Gather My flock"

What is the purpose?

Joseph had a "coat of many colors" that was made from a patchwork of differing pieces of cloth. Each piece was necessary for the coat to be complete. Each piece was different and singular but when all were joined together with loving hands it created a covering that was both bold and unique.          Many made fun of this coat but the fact was that God honored Joseph and this "covering" was anointed of God and served Joseph very well. Now Joseph faced many trials but God was faithful to raise Joseph up and to have him honored in the land.        The UCA is this type of covering and our united Assemblies shall create a many colored covering whereby all of our Christian Assemblies will be honorable in Christ for service in the Kingdom.        Let us become jointly fitted together for greater service to our Lord. The strength in our unity will make us mighty for His work.

• The express purpose for these Assemblies is to focus upon mutual support and growth. Each member Assembly will add what resources they may have and these resources will become part of the pool that all may draw from in the way of teaching materials or ministry resources and or materials to assist the operations of each individual Assembly. All will benefit from the mutual efforts of all involved. Each Assembly is of importance and will grow and prosper by the support of the many. Solidarity and unity will make this Conference thrive and grow. To promote free observance of Faith in Christ without the dogma of man's traditions or Denominational restrictions.

• Each Assembly may have the ability to obtain and operate their own United Christian Bible Institute. They may use this as a form of edifying their community and or their Assembly. They may generate some support income for their Assembly or simply operate it as a free service Institute. There are certain benefits to having this structure incorporated into their ministry.

• UCA chartered Assemblies will have access to many useful resources for their ministries.  Many printable documents like Baptism Certificates, Marriage Certificates, Software and support programs, outlines for Bible Studies, counseling outline forms and church directory services to name just a few.

Who is it for?

• Covered Assemblies may include: Home churches, Independent churches, Prayer groups, Bible study groups, Cell churches, Non-Denominational, Missionary or other free churches.These Assemblies shall take a name that includes the words "Christian Assembly" in them and will carry a charter from the UCA.
  Jesus said: "when two or more gather in My Name I will be there" This is the Biblical definition of the true Christian Church.

• Associated Assemblies may include: Established churches with an established charter or other covering. Established Assemblies with a defined name and structure or those who wish to remain out from under covering but wish to be in association and unity with the UCA Conference.
