United Christian Ministry Institute, Ltd. Satellite Extension Institutes Information and Requirements

There is no way for us to cover all aspects and possibilities of each Institute that will become established through this offering but we will attempt to cover as much as we can here to answer your questions.

• Each Institute will be under Licensure through the parent Institute. This must be renewed each year. Licensure fee is $50 per calendar year.

• Each Institute will be required to keep accurate student records. Appropriate forms will be supplied for you.

• Each Institute must have classrooms suitable to teach their students from. Churches may qualify for this as well. Class size should be limited to not more than about 15 students per class.
  .
• There will be no off campus or distant education allowed for the Satellite Extension Institutes. All instruction must be held in a classroom setting. Students desiring distance education are to be referred to the parent Institute. The parent Institute in turn will refer students to the Satellite Institutes for classroom training.

• Each Institute must have at least one instructor with a valid B.A. or higher degree that is available to oversee the instruction that is offered within the Institute.

• Homework can be assigned and periodic testing may be given at the instructor's discretion. Most homework will be of a reading and review type of study for the student.
  .
• All course studies ordered from the parent Institute must be paid for in advance. Payments will be made by the Satellite Institute directly. We will not accept individual payments from your students. Online forms as well as paper forms will be available for this and payments may be made by conventional methods as well as credit card payment if you so desire.

• All course studies and Degree diplomas will be published and provided by the parent Institute. You will be allowed to award your own Satisfactory Completion Certificates if you so desire.

• Satellite Institutes may hold commencement ceremonies for their graduating students. This is not required but it is a blessing to the graduating students to participate in this ceremony.
  .
• All degrees offered are theological in nature and should not be confused with academic degrees that come from secular college education. There is no academic accreditation available for religious or theological degrees. Your Satellite Institute will be covered under the same accreditation as the parent Institute.

• The curriculum offered through the parent Institute is generally accepted by other Seminaries. Please note that it is at each Seminary's discretion as to the acceptance of credits earned elsewhere.

• Books required for the courses offered are readily available from standard book sellers. Your Christian book seller should be able to fill all textbook orders for your students. All textbooks are available from online book sellers as well.
  .
• You will never be in this alone at any time. You may call the Institute or send an email whenever you have questions that you need answered. We are available during normal business hours.
  .
• Some States and countries disallow religious degrees. If you are located within an area that does not allow you to award degrees, we can supply "Diplomas" and allow your students to transfer their credits directly to us to obtain their degree. We can work with you however your needs require.

• Please note that all course materials are the sole property of United Christian Ministry Institute, Ltd. Abuse of this material by using it out of the context of this offering is strictly prohibited. These courses are copy protected and registered. Abuse of these conditions will result in the revocation of licensure and prosecution under civil law. You will be required to sign a statement of your understanding of this policy. This statement is commonly known as a non-compete contract. You may not use the materials for any purpose other than the credible execution of the Satellite Institute for which it was designed.

• Your classes may be held at any time of the year and instructed at any acceptable time of the day. This clause allows for the operation of this type of Institute by a church or as a night-school type of Institute. This in no way negates the viability of your Institute from operating as a full time Seminary.
